IT Operations Manager - PE Global requires an IT Operations Manager for one of our clients in Cork.The IT Operations Manager reports to the Director of Information Technology and is responsible for: Developing, managing and maintaining the company’s IT Infrastructure. Lead all IT infrastructure projects to ensure that we reduce technical debt. Managing a team responsible for systems, networks, telephony, storage and databases, with application support and first line service desk. Lead the dedicated security function.Responsible for the main IT revenue budget, covering licence renewals, telecoms for both voice and data, and the majority of IT service contracts. The role will involve: Working as part of IT management team, agree and implement IT strategy required to implement business strategy. Design and implement Infrastructure technical architecture roadmaps to support IT strategy. Manage Service Desk and Service Management function. Proactive identification and resolution of technical issues, ensure timely delivery and quality of services, while following a well documented change management process. Design, implement and monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements. Deliver infrastructure projects within agreed scope, budget and timescale. Manage stakeholders throughout our business. Responsible for Disaster Recovery Planning, Backup and Recovery operations and Security Management Personal Attributes. Key Technology in Use. Microsoft Windows, Citrix,VMWare, Oracle, Linux, Microsoft Sharepoint,Drools and Jboss. At least 10 industry experience - of which at least 5 will have involved leading Infrastructure teams. Proven track record leading a team that manages highly available, resilient applications, databases, networks, storage area networks. Contact Centre experience would be ideal (but not mandatory), AVAYA platform experience preferred. Third level IT or related qualification.
