A Manufacturing Engineer is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based engineering client. THE ROLE: * We are currently recruiting for permanent full-time Engineer. The successful candidate must have manufacturing experience, organisational skills, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and be a team player. * Troubleshooting and provide technical support of products, process, materials and equipment operation. * Specify, introduce, validate and continuously improve equipment and processes. * Integrate developed products into the production process. * Ensure current best practices are maintained and keep abreast of new relevant technologies. * Support the Development Engineering team in the development, optimisation and implementation of new products and technologies. * Solve, in conjunction with the Quality department, customer related problems/issues as needed. THE REQUIREMENTS: * Level 8 Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering. * 2 years experience in engineering based manufacturing type industry. * Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of applied statistics and control systems. * Good mechanical aptitude.
