If you`re a dynamic QC Analyst who has strong knowledge of HPLC and eager to join one of the leading Pharma companies in Cork then I want to speak to you. Ideally you will have 3-4 years of experience but I`ll consider 2 strong years upwards. (This isn`t suitable for recent graduates. This role will focus on QC testing samples to support the release of product so good GMP/GLP knowledge, laboratory experience and HPLC is essential. If you have knowledge of Six Sigma, even better. Primary activities/responsibilities: Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards. Analysis, release and testing of samples. Documentation in compliance with GMP standards. Compliance with 6S standards. Problem solving to get to root cause of issues. Support Laboratory Investigations. Responsible for supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement by using MSD Six Sigma tools within the CoE in your daily work. Coaching others by sharing your skill-set and expertise. Qualifications. Degree or 3rd level qualification in Science or related discipline. Candidates must have: Knowledge of working practices required for a Chemistry / Biochemistry laboratory. Good knowledge of basic computer programs such as MS Word and Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good understanding of quality principles and good attention to detail. Demonstrate knowledge in more than one pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing operation. Excellent work ethic required. Problem solving skills. A good knowledge of cGMP, GLP, Quality Management Systems. A good working knowledge of ELISA testing is desirable. A good working knowledge of HPLC systems and software is desirable.
