Ireland’s largest manufacturer of quality dairy and frozen desserts for Retail and Foodservice customers throughout Ireland and the UK. Responsible for management of all aspects of maintenance and capital expenditure of the company site including; Mix Processing, Packing Equipment, Refrigeration and Services, Waste Water Treatment and General Factory Fabrication and Environment. Ensure the efficient and safe delivery of a cost effective maintenance function at the site. Drive the development of the preventative maintenance system to reduce down-time in the manufacturing process and protect and enhance the performance of equipment and machinery. Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget. Work with the senior management team to agree and implement the annual capital expenditure programme and site development plan. Relevant third level Eng. qual. with at least 8 years’ engineering experience in a food processing or similar environment. At least 5 years’ relevant lead experience. Experience with refrigeration, dairy processing equipment and / or packing equipment would be an advantage.
