Responsibilities

The primary role of the Learning & Development Operations Manager is to manage a team of approximately 13-15 Learning & Development Associates & Analysts ensuring high performance from the team as well as contributing to the career development of the team members. The primary role of the Learning & Development Operations team is to perform a variety of Learning & Development workflow submission and request activities to provide and maintain accurate, global Learning & Development data for the workforce.

  • Provide thorough ownership of the Learning & Development Operations business processes operated by your team, including but not limited to creating/modifying courses/curriculum and assignment to learning plans.
  • Provide excellent, innovative insights on the Learning & Development Operations processes as well as lead or support projects to continue to evolve and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review key Learning & Development Operations metrics to drive excellence in service and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong relationships with your direct reports to coach and mentor them to deliver individually and as a team while developing professionally.
  • Develop top talent by leading regular succession planning and having robust performance/coaching conversations and ensuring the organization is always fit for purpose.
  • Contribute as key member of the leadership team, responsible for the global learning technology platform, business processes, data integrity and services.

  • Familiarise with all applicable process documentation & training materials to ensure you and your team operate in a fully compliant manner
  • Ensure ownership for all applicable Operational controls for your area
  • Actively work with the core team members, the Global Learning Services organization, regional/global Learning & Development contacts & internal business partners to build effective working relationships
  • Demonstrate excellence in all interactions with our internal customers & business partners
  • Focus on measuring & improving our internal customer’s experience
  • Demonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach & help to build a strong Continuous Improvement culture
Basic Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of people management experience in HR/Learning & Development Operations team with demonstrated performance management, development, engagement, service level performance measurement and capacity planning experience.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience working in regulated business is preferable.
