The Role: Industrial Automation Role (Cork) - Challenging Role for a Technical Engineer with good skills in engineering/automation and commercial aspects of a business. You will be providing technical expertise, product and application support assisting the Sales Team. You will develop new, and grow, existing business within Pharma, Med Device, Food & Beverage Industries. Key Responsibilities. Provide quality technical support to customers. Be capable of learning & supporting customer applications – become an expert in a specific market. Manage customer relations, technical issues and assist with troubleshooting. Assist the Sales Divisions with queries, resolve technical issues. Provide quality feedback and report to management on new product development, current product features and sales activities. Help grow the company through product development input and excellent technical abilities. Desirable: Automation & Engineering Experience with commercial and customer skills. Degree Qualified Engineering – Automation/ Instrumentation/ Electrical or a related discipline. 3-5 years in a similar capacity. Ability to outline and specify control systems for high volume manufacturing. Experience with PLC programming. Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings.
