PE Global Healthcare in association with their client are now recruiting a Hospital Liason Nurse in Cork/Dublin. Position provides Ideal Working Hours, Top Benefits & a highly Competitive Salary. This varied and interesting role will primarily see you liaising with our homecare provider, discharge planners and hospital management to identify potential private patients, to co-ordinate discharge planning process and ultimately enable transfer of these patients into homecare service. The Hospital Liaison Nurse will be responsible for generating and maximising growth in the homecare service in the best interests of our members, our values, our brand and our business. You will also be involved in provider engagement regarding Utilisation Review as well as Clinical Audit and other medical management initiatives as required. The role involves regular travel and requires onsite presence in hospitals. A nursing qualification is essential to the role, with a minimum of four years’ clinical experience. Pharmaceutical/Sales experience would be an advantage. The role has a broad remit of functions incorporating aspects of Account Management, Liaison and Education. The role will require working in a fast paced environment, working to targets and being comfortable with decision making. The ideal candidate will: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain key working relationships with homecare providers and healthcare providers. Be a RGN and have strong clinical acumen and judgement. Have excellent attention to detail and be quality focussed to ensure quality of care for our members. Have good planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, the ability to multi task, be comfortable with problem solving and decision making as well as working to targets and experience of working in a fast paced environment. Be analytical and comfortable with data. Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Be able to work as part of a team but also work on their own initiative.
