Responsibilities. Manages a team of Supply Chain personnel, including organizing and prioritizing goals and objectives in line with business strategy. Organizes workload, prioritizes tasks, organizes training and conducts performance reviews. Collaborate with the International Regulatory team and the Commercial team to develop New Product launch plans for the EMEA region. Responsible for planning, implementing, and initiating activities on multiple projects related to Supply Chain to ensure project deliverable dates and scope are met. Ensure compliance with current regulatory standards and guidelines (administrative, financial, EHS and Quality Assurance ) Leads, monitors, assesses and communicates risks on key Supply Chain projects, provides regular updates to Senior Management. Provides leadership, direction and management of a team, to support execution of the Supply Chain strategy related to Planning and Warehousing. Creates and maintains a positive working environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement and performance. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the operation of Supply Chain activities, ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are met. Implements and maintains material and production control systems, policies, processes and procedures ensuring that a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Conducts formal business reviews with key suppliers, subcontractors and/or vendors to discuss performance on a regular basis. Work closely with other departments in implementing process improvements to achieve plant goals of production output, efficiencies, unit cost and quality. Education & Experience. Third level degree required in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline. Over 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices. Knowledge and proficiency across multiple practices within Supply Chain department, to understand, coordinate and communicate across the competing demands of each. Solid working knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and guidance from HPRA and FDA. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the financial aspects of Supply Chain operations. Proven ability to successfully interact with other functions on projects that involve negotiation and collaboration with cross-functional peers and more senior management levels.
