Our client based in Cork is seeking the following for a 12 month contract: CONTEXT & BACKGROUND: The DePuy Synthes Ireland Global Supply Chain Organisation’s Charter is focused on Strategic Supply Chain development for the DePuy Synthes Global Joints reconstruction Business. The DePuy Synthes Supply Chain, which is a critical element of the broader Johnson & Johnson Medical Device and Enterprise Supply Chains, has initiated a very significant transformational program over the last couple of years. This transformation is focused on reengineering Supply Chain Business processes and systems on a Global scale. This Project Management position is at the heart of that transformation effort offering very rewarding experiences including Global leadership and networking opportunities. This opportunity is positioned within the Global Supply Chain team that is based out of our Cork facility. JOB PURPOSE: Management of projects for DePuy aligned with the Global Plan strategy. Liaise with all key stakeholders in building and executing on the project management plan to best-practice project management processes. ORGANISATIONAL INTERFACES: GO sector Plan team, DePuy Ireland Plan team, DePuy Ireland PMO Team, DePuy worldwide Plan team, Global logistics organisation (CLS), Global Commercial Boards, Global IT, Corporate Governance Boards, Enterprise Architecture Review Committee (EAC), Global Process Board (GPB). MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : • Direct and manage a project’s development from concept to project completion. • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. • Develop and execute comprehensive communications and stakeholder management plans. • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Essential: • 5+ years of relevant experience. • Global Project leadership experience. • Excellent cultural awareness. • Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry - Electronics Supply Chain expertise is also acceptable. • Excellent financial acumen. • ERP / Planning Systems knowledge. • Influencing and managing others. • Very Strong organization skills. • Can drive continuous process improvements. • Having the ability to work at both a macro and micro level as required. • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions. • Proactive leadership approach with demonstrated skills in delivering major programs on time and within budget. • Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project.
