This role will play a key part in identifying opportunities to improve and enhance energy performance for the company. Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for building models, monitoring, and reporting energy performance. Liaising with the Process Teams, Project Definition, and Commercial Groups. Managing energy usage by reviewing process unit energy efficiencies and identifying process design. Improving furnace efficiency by reviewing furnace operation and investigating any operational issues. Mentoring of other engineers and plan staff regarding energy considerations. Carry out energy audits in compliance with EPA licence requirements. Collate energy metric information. Provide technical assistance and support to the environmental lead in the area of GHG emission monitoring, measuring and management. Identify potential opportunities to improve LPG recovery from fuel gases, and complete design specifications as required. Assist with development of improvement projects through simulation of energy benefits and input to development of business cases. Take ownership, be accountable and deliver to commitments. Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Relevant degree (ideally Chemical Engineering. 5 + years relevant experience. Ideally experience within oil and Gas but not essential. Proven background in development of business models. Ability to use computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Simulation software, and Business systems.
