A leading Irish organization operating in global markets is looking to recruit a Maintenance Planner to join their manufacturing facility in Cork. As a senior member of the operational management team, you will play an integral role in driving the organization’s asset care strategy. Responsibilities. Planning, organizing , managing and developing key resources within the Asset Care Team to create and sustain a high-performance work team to drive overall plant performance; Responsible for the effective & systematic application of work planning, scheduling and reporting procedures required to ensure efficient execution of work. Responsible for controlling the maintenance work within the Computerized Maintenance Management system. Accountabilities. Achieving plant throughput targets. Ensuring all new equipment is put up on the CMMS system. Ensure all relevant PMs are updated and follow on WOs completed to optimize plant performance. Ensuring that any accidents are fully investigated and any associated actions closed out. Skills. Relevant level 8 qualification. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Ability to influence others at all levels in the organization; A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude. Self-motivator & good organization skills. Computer literate – Word, Excel, email. Knowledge & experience of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management systems) & EAM (Enterprise Asset Management systems.
