Tax Manager (Cork. Our client is a well established Accountancy Practice located in the suburbs of Cork City. They employ a highly experienced team of accountants, auditors and tax consultants to manage their large and diverse portfolio of clients. A high number of the the employees have been with the firm 10+years. The firm prides itself on delivering a high level of customer service to their extensive client base. An opportunity has just arisen for an experienced and qualified tax professional to join the business on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified tax professional with at least 2 years post qualified experience. This opportunity will require the sucessful candidate to work on their own initiative and the opportunity to develop the role, based on their ability to service the client demands whilst looking for opportunities to develop the services delivered by the tax department. Duties & Responsibilities: Personal Tax returns for a large portfolio of professional high net worth clients ( 200 plus ) Ad hoc calculations for Vat on Property. Completion of high volume of CT returns. An increasing level of planning work in the form of CAT returns. Increasing volume of ad hoc calculations for Vat on Property. Liaising with the Partners and external Tax consultants when required on key tax matters. Clients range from Solicitors, Doctors, Dentists, SME`s and Limited Companies. Overseeing and reviewing all of the firms tax matters and advising colleagues when required.
