My client, a well established family run Construction Company in Cork is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide high quality book keeping and administrative support to their busy team. Key Responsibilities of this role: Handle invoice processing and payment workflow. Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure invoicing completed in a timely manner. Documenting and filing weekly invoices. Create and maintain detailed invoice tracking document of actual spend per invoice. Track invoice spend versus individual Purchase Orders. Quarterly reporting as requested. Complete weekly payroll for approx 15 employees. The successful candidate will have: 3 years of experience in a fast paced financial/administrative position within the Construction industry. A sound understanding of Sage, Microsoft Excel and various IT systems. Analytical yet creative in your approach to solving problems. Ability to build relationships across the business.
