This Procurement Lead role requires an individual who is capable to support the achievement of procurement value targets and reduce spend across the company. The successful candidate will have experience in Supply Chain Management, be commercially aware and enjoy working with lots of autonomy and in a fast paced changing environment. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential requirements. To have strong financial modelling skills in MS Excel and motivated and enthusiastic with strong influencing skills. Responsibilities. Business Strategy Management. Responsible for the oversight and development of capital budgets and informing capital rationing decisions. Serve as the primary point of contact for commercials on vendor evaluation, qualification, and competitive bidding needs. Educate internal customers and vendors on all relevant commercial procedures and policies. Partner with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions. Assist in development of formal solicitations (RFT) for equipment and services. Support the costing process for inputs into commercial tenders where systems or services are being procured from 3rd parties. Provide costing support for Strategic Initiatives where there are capital and overhead elements. Drive a cost focused agenda and ensure value in procurements leveraging on our partners, scale and growth prospects. Collaborate with team, customers and internal business partners to identify areas for cost improvement. Demonstrated creative problem-solving and analytical skills within a fast-paced, deadline driven, and challenging environment. Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and draw conclusions quickly. Experience in competitive bidding, supplier qualification and supplier management (2 years. Industry experience in technology services or equipment sourcing or purchasing (2 years. Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay process. Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results. Explain the financial consequences of spending decisions. Responsible for the oversight and development of overhead budgets and forecasts. Responsible for analytical review of actual overheads company spending monthly. Support and provide capacity across the commercial team in the provision of financial information and commercial support to business units.
