My client, a leading multinational organisation who specialises in engineering, design and project management is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and forward thinking External Communications Manager to lead on Communications plans across the Europe region. Reporting to the Head of Communications, responsibilities will include: Develop, manage and implement integrated marketing communications plans and campaigns. Work with experts to identify stories which respond to trends in the marketplace to champion the concept of thought leadership. Lead on the development of effective media handling and manage press enquiries on behalf of the region. Develop an integrated regional external communications calendar and communications plan. Continuously build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of regional external communications plan. Support the delivery of the organisations corporate communications strategy. Ensure quality content through liaising with Europe Marketing and Communications. Travel across European offices as and when required to ensure projects are managed. The successful candidate will possess: A Degree in Communications, Marketing or PR. You will have a minimum of 5+ years experience delivering complex communications plans/strategies ideally in professional services. Excellent knowledge on web content and social media channel in professional context. Experience of working with external media/PR agencies for an international organisation. Highly motivated, able to work independently and eager to take on new challenges. This role has flexibility on working hours (subject to agreement) and can be based across various offices throughout Ireland, Germany or Spain.
