THE ROLE: * Reporting to the Site Lead. He/ She will co-ordinate and control all the activities within the plant to meet production targets, quality, environmental, maintenance, people, H&S and cost objectives on a day to day basis and in doing so will be a key person in driving site performance. * You will be responsibleProduction Planning, recruitment & organisation of Key Resources to meet production targets and maximise outputs within the plant; * Act as a point of escalation and support to the Front Line Managers in resolving any people related issues within the plant; * Monitor, deliver and report against key performance indicators on a weekly basis. KPIs include product costs, labour costs, plant efficiency (uptime), OEE, product yield, product quality, H&S, effluent targets, customer service, raw material and consumables utilisation, plant hygiene in line with internal and external customer requirements; * Promote a culture of excellence by ensuring all product is made to defined quality standards and meets the customer specifications; * Responsible for ensuring all quality regulatory compliance standards are met e.g. FSSC 22000 Food Safety Implementation, Food Safety & Hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practice and Housekeeping. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline (Science, Engineering, Business); * 3 year's experience in a similar leadership role; * Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence others at all levels in the organisation and a proven working relationship with people; * Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through team work, motivation and real employee engagement; * Willingness to assist in a team environment and to adapt to challenges in the course of achieving departmental and site objectives.
