Stock Controller/Data Entry/Customer Service Administrator


The role involves efficient customer order administration, customer service and liaison, stock control and maintenance of all records pertaining to stock traceability in a busy food storage company.

Reporting Structure

The role reports to the Warehouse Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer stock receipts and delivery order processing
  • Liaise in a professional and efficient manner with customers to accept orders and resolve queries
  • Maintain all back-up records associated with each transaction, where appropriate
  • Liaise with logistics companies and delivery drivers to schedule receipt/dispatch bookings
  • Communicate with internal warehouse personnel and external logistics personnel to ensure stock receipt/dispatch and transaction paperwork is compliant with procedures
  • Complete and issue customer stock reports
Key Competencies & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an order processing or data entry role an advantage
  • Previous experience of stock management systems an advantage e.g. Principle, In-DEX, Movex, SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent attention to detail
Proficient computer knowledge / ability – Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
