Accommodation Assistant Manager- 4* Hotel Cork. We are now seeking applications for an experienced accommodation supervisor for our esteemed client in Cork. This is a well-regarded property and an opportunity to join a well-established close knit management team who work together to achieve the operationally success. The successful candidate will assist in the management of the accommodation team and will ensure a high standard of cleanliness in bedrooms and all public areas. The role requires a strong hospitality leader who can deputize for the accommodation manager in their absence. We are seeking a candidate who will has at least 2 years previous accommodation supervisory experience. Main Duties will include: Ensuring that the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in common areas and guest rooms, whilst making sure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations. Effective and efficient rostering through experienced forecasting. Liaising with front office and reservation and revenue team to manage occupancy and allocations to maximise profitability. Ensure that all necessary maintenance work is flagged and dealt with accordingly in conjunction with the maintenance department- and general upkeep is maintained through rigorous inspections. To be fully aware of all hotel business, with regard to occupancy, functions and event, VIP's and all other special requirements. Train, support and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve the short term targets and long term goals of the accommodation department.
