JOB DESCRIPTION-AUTOMATION ENGINEER. Are you an Automation Engineer who wants to progress to the next level? Do you have the ability to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians? I am currently looking for a strong Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical assembly of all projects, ensuring the assembly process, techniques and work practices result in a final assembly on time and within budget. You must have the ability to manage and develop a team of engineers and co-ordinate materials purchasing & assembly resources. The ideal candidate will have: A Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent. 5 years' experience in machine building. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and PLC control elements of machines. A working knowledge of Solidworks. A good working knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams. The ability to schedule workloads for team of 5-10 employees. Clean Driving License & passport. Position will require travel within Ireland and abroad.
